Youthful and Thriving Volunteers Coming Your Way

Fundamentals of Effective Volunteering in the Social Services @ Youth Corps Singapore | Photography by Fuel Gooder Joy Ong
A throwback to the last two Thursdays (21 & 28 Feb) at The Red Box.
Great energy over the two evenings as we introduced and covered essential topics to help one be an effective volunteer. Specially designed for Youth Corps Singapore, the two evenings saw the youths learning about self-awareness, stressors facing families in need, active listening and self-care.
In addition to picking up skills to be an effective social service volunteer, we also hope the youths take away with them valuable life skills for themselves.
Look out for the Youth Corps volunteers as they serve the community in their upcoming Youth Corps Service Week, happening from 16 to 23 Mar 2019. All the best to our youths, as they go forth to make a difference!
Thanks to Youth Corps Singapore for the partnership opportunity to allow us to help equip the youth volunteers in the lead-in workshops.
Special thanks to all our Fuel Gooder volunteers also who helped make the two evenings possible.
