Master the A.R.T. of Volunteer Management in the New Norm

Reading Time: 2 minutes
Master VM ARTI am excited to share 3 tools which have been developed and refreshed recently to help volunteer partnerships practitioners master the A.R.T. of volunteer management, especially in this post-COVID-19 world.
(A)ttracting volunteers
(R)ecruiting them, and
‣ forging (T)hriving partnerships that positively impact the organizations, service users, communities, volunteers and staff members.
These 3 tools are a result of lessons learned and mistakes made from my 15 years of working as a practitioner, in growing volunteer programmes for charities. I hope they will be a helpful resource for you.

They are:

  • Interactive Programme Assessment & Strategy Companion (iPASC)
This tool can be used to (i) gauge the current state of development of your organization’s strategic volunteer partnerships capabilities and (ii) to determine the development roadmap in further enhancing strategic volunteer partnerships in your organization especially in the Post-COVID-19 world. This is the enhanced version of the “Strategic Volunteer Partnerships Development Roadmap” and supersedes it.
  • Volunteer Engagement Crisis Response Plan
This toolkit provides some guidelines for consideration when developing a plan for volunteer engagement during such crises e.g. disease outbreaks etc
  • 12-S Model for COVID-19 Safe Management
This 1-page infographic presents 12 proposed guidelines for COVID-19 Safe Management for volunteer programmes.
Download them and other free resources today by clicking below or heading to our Volunteer Management e-Shop:
While you are at it, don’t forget to also check out our other strategic volunteer partnerships programmes for volunteers and practitioners alike.
We would love to be able to connect with you to start a conversation about how we can help you grow your volunteer partnerships. Let’s chat.
