Hack Care – Online COVID-19 Mental Resilience Hackathon

Hackathon (noun, hakuh-thon)
An out-of-the-box, sprint-like event where people come together to collaboratively co-design and solve a problem within a limited time.

HOW YOU CAN HACK CARE:

Care enough to build your mental resilience while also helping our community to build its resilience amidst COVID-19?

Join us for our upcoming online mental resilience mini-hackathon to:

  • understand about stress and burnout
  • gain insights into the stressors affecting our community during this COVID-19 situation
  • rally together as a community and connect with like-minded people
  • co-learn mental resilience strategies from one another
  • co-create a COVID-19 Mental Resilience Survival Kit for Singapore
  • do good by raising funds for a SG United initiative

WHO WE ARE DONATING TO:

There are a lot of needs out there that we hope to be able to support. For this mini-hackathon, we hope to not only help our participants and our community build their mental resilience, we also selected the following beneficiary and will commit to donate 50% of what we receive to support them:

COVID-19 Response by Beyond Social Services

We want to remember the disadvantaged families living in rental flats who may be hard hit by COVID-19, lost their jobs and have their household incomes severely reduced and the familiy’s livelihood threatened.

WHO SHOULD JOIN?

Anyone who would like to just spend 2 hours to:

  • Build your own mental resilience
  • Meet people and learn from one another
  • Care for the community and co-create a mental well-being survival kit comprising tips and strategies for one to keep resilient in critical times such as COVID-19

THE PRIZE?

Everyone walks away a winner from this mini-hackathon as we learn from one another mental resilience strategies, help our community grow in mental resilience and help the needy amidst us.

DETAILS OF THE HACKATHON:

  • Date, Time & Venue – 30 Apr 2020 (Thu), 3pm-5pm, Online
    (we may also organize additional rounds, leave your contact with us to be updated)
  • Number of Seats – Only 25 places
  • Participation Fee – $20 (50% of profits will go towards a SG United initiative)
